AI Prompt Engineering

Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022 a new field of knowledge arose: Prompt Engineering. Prompt engineering is the discipline of first knowing how different Generative AI models work, and then using that knowledge to write prompts that get the most valuable outputs out of the AI models, consistently.

The goal of this seminar is to make students more familiar with what AI is, and how to use AI tools more effectively. We also discuss how to ethically use the tools in an educational context. Different AI tools require different prompt engineering methods. In this seminar we focus on prompt engineering for language and image generators.
