Application Documents

If you want to study at the Faculty of Design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, we ask you kindly to send in the following application documents:

• Academic achievements
• Application letter
• Curriculum vitae
• Portfolio (only for Communication/Transformation and Identity Design)
• B2 Language proof in German

The application to a degree program takes place via the application portal of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences:

Everyone who did not obtain their university entrance qualification in Germany or in a school with German Abitur examination regulations has to do a verification of their qualifications via uni-assist. This broschure will give you more information regarding this topic.

In order to be admitted to the degree program, applicants must successfully complete the following two-stage procedure:

Stage 1: (Digital) Application

Please submit the required application documents in consideration of the deadlines. Communication, Transformation and Identitiy Design applicants also have to send in a portfolio. Your admission to the qualifying examination will be decided on the basis of the application documents submitted.

Stage 2: Qualifying Examination

The aplitude test takes place every year in July. You will receive the invitation for this approx. 10 days before the examination via your mail contact known to us.

Successful Admission?

In that case you will get a receipt of a letter of admission. Admission and rejection notifications will be sent approximately one week after the aptitude test. You will have to accept the place of study and do the enrolment and commencement of studies.
