We are actively contributing to the I40D/myJoghurt demonstrator project. Our goal is a distributed cyber-physical production system (CPPS) for the production of highly customised products.

The myJoghurt project was brought to life by Technische Universität München.

Project details

The "Agent Management System" server (short form: AMS) connects all registered agents.

All agents send joghurt specific data, such as the appearance of the packaging, the taste of the yogurt, topping, along with others. We rely on open source software applications. We have redesigned our agent software from scratch to support the myJoghurt production and logistic protocols.

Our client software can receive all incomming messages from the AMS server. If a response is necessary by the server, our client application sends the requestet data back to the server.

To configure a jogurt, a web application has been written by University of Stuttgart. The web application sends the configured joghurt product to the AMS server and in turn to our myJoghurt client software.

Our next steps are:

  • Implementation of the myJoghurt ContractNET protocol in Python
  • Connect the myJoghurt agents with our plant model
