Juliane Forßmann

Dr. Juliane Forßmann is a research assistant in the Department of Social Work at the Technical University of Augsburg. Her interests lie in local projects that interconnect aspects of ecological and social justice and innovative educational concepts. Within the advanced module of Social Work in the Migrant Society (6th semester), she teaches Gardening as a Method of Social Work.

Juliane graduated from University College London, where she also completed her PhD. She spent much of her work in publishing and is the author of many German language learning resources. She has worked in educational programs for immigrants since 2005. In 2019, she decided to professionalize further by studying Social Work at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. She graduated in March 2023 with a B.A. in Social Work. Ever since, she has been researching and teaching at the Department of Social Work.
