Lukas Meitz

Lukas pursued his scientific education in a dual study program, combining academic coursework with practical experience at a partnering company. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Ingolstadt in 2019, followed by a Master's degree in computer science focusing on data science at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg in 2021.
Currently, Lukas is dedicated to his doctoral project, which revolves around Predictive Maintenance for Product Automation Systems. He collaborates closely with the Chair of Organic Computing at Augsburg University.
As a professional tinkerer, Lukas is interested not only in theoretical aspects but also in practical applications of algorithms, which drives his research on Predictive Maintenance.
For this, he draws on experience with digital fabrication and repair sessions of everything containing mechatronics, like CNC Mills, 3D Printers, Coffee Machines, etc.
