Prof. Dr. Sergej Rempel

Sergej Rempel studied civil engineering at RWTH Aachen. He worked as a structural engineer at the HS&P engineering office in Cologne in 2011. From 2012, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Concrete Construction at RWTH Aachen University, where he investigated the load-bearing behavior and reliability of textile-reinforced concrete components. From 2018 to 2020, he was a project manager at Solidian GmbH and was responsible, among other things, for the dimensioning of textile concrete components and bridges. At the beginning of 2020, he was appointed to the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, where he is a professor in the field of solid construction.
