Dear Workspace Seekers,
Do you need a quiet place to study, a group room for exchange, permanent workstations for Bachelor/Master theses or for long nights at the university?
For you, students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, rooms have been prepared in the C-Building and Naumannbau, to which you are cordially invited to study and be creative. In the following you will get an overview of the available rooms.
Old Cafeteria
The old cafeteria (room C1.22) is an all-rounder room. It offers a flexible learning and group room atmosphere for all students of the university. Table groups can be formed as needed. The university cinema as well as lectures and examinations take place here.
Quiet Workroom
On the 3rd floor of the room C4.20 you will find a quiet workroom, equipped with a large number of chairs and tables and accessible to all students of the faculty. Here, everyone who wants to be busy with their laptops and books can find a single place. Particularly in the learning phases, we should treat each other with consideration.

Assigned Work Space
On the 3rd floor of the C-Building there are several study rooms that can be booked by students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering as permanent workstations (C4. 06 – C4. 10 | C4. 13 – C4. 14).
At the beginning of each semester, it is possible to apply for one of these places via Moodle. You can find more information about the application process and the required documents in the Moodle course (Link). We ask for your understanding, that this Moodle course only exists in German language.
Look forward to a lively exchange between the different study programs of the faculty.
Important: If you only need a job during the course of the semester, you still have to apply at the beginning of the semester in the planned application period, stating your required period of use.

Group/Presentation Room
Above the student representation room, behind the old canteen, there is a great group work room. The C2. 24 is located on the 1st floor (see also directions) and can be reached via the outside door of the building.
The room offers you three group work tables for 6-8 people each. Discussions can take place, plans can be posted on pinboards and presentations can be prepared.
All students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering have the opportunity to have their Campus Card activated for the room at the beginning and during the semester. To do this, enrol in the Moodle-Course Booking Group Workspace and follow the steps described there. Please understand that this course does only exist in German language. A form has to be filled out and uploaded to the Moodle course. Then you can book a place for your group, also via Moodle. You can then use the room for the whole semester with your project group.

Naumann-Bau
For architects and E2DS 1st – 7th semester there is a few minutes walk from the C-Bau the Naumann-Bau. Located at Hofrat-Röhrer-Straße 7, 86 161 Augsburg, you can access the entrance to the 1. and 2nd floor access. Here there are some rooms that can be used for group work and contributions.

Wooden workshop for model building
The modelling room is located in the annex to the C-building. Here you can work as you like. If you need a styro cutter or other tools, you can find all information on the loan on the website of the Wooden workshop for model building (Link).

Room for good coexistence
We are very proud and thankful that we have such great spaces at our disposal. In order for everyone to feel comfortable in these rooms, we must help together by leaving them as we would like to find them ourselves. In addition, of course, all HSA-wide rules apply to these rooms.
