Project Seminar II
Contents
- This seminar accompanies Project Studio II and serves to clarify the theoretical side of the project topic, and to help students to process issues fundamental to the project.
- If parts of the course are held in English or are to be presented in English, the module includes lessons in technical English.- In addition to this, some classes may be held in other major European languages.
- Students learn advanced methods for assessing technical literature and analyzing case studies.
Qualification objectives
- The students acquire fundamental and, where relevant, selective knowledge of the current status of theory and practice in each of the project topics they are working on.
- Acquisition of extensive knowledge of specialized urban planning and architectural topics, including current developments.
- The students considerably expand their ability to analyze the marginal conditions of a project location and project program, along with their implications for problem-solving relating to the specific situation of dealing with an existing town.
