"Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship

The "Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship promotes talented and high-performance students. In addition to first-class grades, your social commitment and special personal achievements are taken into account when awarding the scholarship.

The scholarship holders are supported with 300 euros per month. 150 euros are paid by private sponsors, and the state contributes 150 euros. Gifted students as well as newcomers to the program can apply directly to the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. The scholarship is granted for at least two semesters. Afterwards the application for further funding is possible. The scholarship is always subject to the availability of scholarship funds.

In particular, international full-time students, students with an immigration background and students of the second educational path are called upon to apply for these scholarships.

Applications are made in two stages. Please fill out the online form (available only in German). In the second step, please summarize all your application documents in a PDF document and send them by e-mail (see below). Please note, you will only receive confirmation from the university if your documents are complete.

The next application period for the academic year 2017/18 will be opened in the summer semester 2017 (probably in May / June).

The application should include:

• The fully completed online application form (available only during the application period)    
• motivation letter (max 1 page DIN A 4)    
• tabular CV with date and signature    
• Certificate of enrollment   
• Evidence of the certificates or performance certificates acquired up to the date of the application    
• Appropriate written evidence of the honorary, social or cultural commitment
