Preparatory college
If you cannot provide evidence of a direct University Entrance Qualification based on the assessment of uni-assist, you have the option of attending a preparatory college before beginning your studies at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
Preparatory colleges at universities of applied sciences offer the following specialization courses:
- TI course: For technical and engineering study programs
- WW course: For business study programs
- GD course: For design and art study programs
- SW course: For social science and sociology study programs
The specialization you need depends on what you wish to study at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
The Studienkolleg Coburg (Preparatory College for Universities of Applied Sciences in the State of Bavaria) prepares you for studying at a Bavarian third-level institution.
For information on registration, please refer to the guideline for applicants to the preparatory college. For admission requirements and deadlines, please contact the Studienkolleg Coburg directly.
After successfully finishing the Studienkolleg Coburg and passing the entrance examination, you can apply for certain subjects relevant to the specialization course you completed (e.g. TI course for technical subjects, WW course for sociology subjects, etc.). Your entrance examination certificate will list these subjects.
An entrance examination certification from the Studienkolleg Coburg allows access to the universities of applied sciences, but not to universities!
