Semester-start Scholarships

Support for committed students from Ukraine

We are pleased that you are here and starting a new semester with us.

The International Office of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (HSA) awards scholarships to particularly dedicated international students from funds of the German Foreign Office, in the context of the scholarship and support program STIBET of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

If you have Ukrainian citizenship and are regularly enrolled at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences for the winter semester of 2022/2023, you can apply for a semester-start scholarship. With the scholarship, you will receive one-time funding for three months at €300 each (€900 in total).
In addition, the scholarship supports particularly committed students.

The application deadline is October 16, 2022.

The requirements

a regular enrolment for the winter semester 2022/2023 at the HS Augsburg
a Ukrainian citizenship
a proof or confirmation of current/future social engagement

The selection

The selection procedure is carried out by an internal university selection committee, considering the eligibility criteria. The final selection from among the applications may be based on personal interviews. Selection interviews are not conducted if it is clear from the written documents that one person is the most suitable applicant.

The announcement of the results to the student will be made by e-mail after the end of the selection procedure (by eight weeks after the application deadline at the latest).
