Objectives
- To become acquainted with the Lean Management concept and its principles
- Understanding the background of Lean Management and its history
- Gaining experience in different Lean Management methods
- Learn how to initiate and apply selected Lean Management methods
Content
- History of Lean Management
- Lean Management principles (idea, philosophy, management targets)
- Implementing Lean Management in companies (guideline)
- Lean Management Methods:
- Value Stream Analysis as basic method (case study)
- 5S, Kaizen (simulation)
- Different methods of Lean Management, e.g. TPM, TQM, SMED, Visual Management, Gemba, Poka Yoke (presented by students)
