Our business department is the largest faculty of the university with more than 1,000 students enrolled in two bachelor and four master’s programs. Our extensive range of courses from all fields of business and economics (part of which are taught in English) combines practical relevance, internationality, and high academic standards. Our specialized master’s programs offer a variety of professional opportunities for our graduates. Enabling our students to become “sought-after personalities” is both our focus and our mission statement.

Scientific research at the University of Applied Sciences does not take place in the proverbial ivory tower. During their studies, our students are given various opportunities to get out of the classroom and gain hands-on experience in the business world. To ensure this, we cooperate with companies, professional organizations, associations and other universities on a regional as well as global scale. Core elements of our curriculum include: bachelor and master thesis topics in cooperation with companies, a mandatory internship abroad in our bachelor programs, student business projects, as well as numerous opportunities for students to study abroad.
