The main task of the library is to provide all members of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg with literature and scientific information. Furthermore, it is open to anybody living in or near Augsburg.

In addition to printed literature (scientific books, journals), we offer a variety of online resources, e.g. e-books, DIN standards, e-journals and scientific databases. Students of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg may also borrow technical devices (tablets, scanpens, adapters, voice recorders, calculators and so on).

120 persons can work and study in our reading room and group rooms. We have 33 PCs with office software and internet access. WLAN is available, too. Most media in the reading room are for loan, except for some reference works.

Search the online-catalogue InfoGuide plus for our media and manage your library account (due dates, orders, renewals, reservations) there. The InfoGuide is also available as an app for your smartphone. Modern RFID technology enables you to borrow books on self service stations and return them anytime at a machine next to the entrance door. Books not available in Augsburg may be ordered by interlibrary loan via the tool Gateway Bayern.
