Description

FWPIn contrast to general scientific elective courses (AWP), compulsory elective subjects (AWP) have a professional connection to the associated degree programme. The study and examination regulations (SPO) of the degree programme specify the extent to which elective courses must be attended.

A faculty offers a catalogue of intercourse FWP subjects that can be attended by students of various courses. In addition, there may be course-specific FWP catalogues, e.g. for certain modules or even for individual election requirements called in the SPO.

Note that there may also be events where there is a certain choice, although these are not a FWP subject matter formally. One example is project work where you can select the project group. Real FWP subjects are listed in the Examination Office under different examination numbers. This is not the case with project work and then.
