Blockade – Fast Game

BLOCKADE is a fast paced rhythm game similar to osu!, Dancing Line, Thumper, DanceDanceRevolution, Taiko or Stepmania, in which you navigate a Block through a maze of obstacles which are arranged to the beat of a song. The one demo-level features a dark-opera techno remix (Der Wald by Kors k), which puts on a dark and Luigi‘s Mansion-like atmosphere. Therefore most of the assets are Halloween/Hor- ror-House oriented. Gameplaywise a lot of time was put into getting the turns to line up with the music and for the dramatic parts of the song to actually look dramatic (and be more difficult to play) as well.
