The International Desige Week „Werkschau“ was very proud to welcome Burcu Dündar from our partner Academy Mimar Sinan in Istanbul. Burcu carried out a workshop focusing specifically on the notion of »The Book as an Object«, in an attempt to develop an understanding of using the book form as a tool of expression.

Following a brief introduction to the concept of »the book as an object«, participants were tasked to design a »book« titled The Book of Wild Spaces in Urban Environment. Each student explored the »wilderness« within his/her surrounding enviroment and interpreted it in book form, using the graphic language.
