The event was opened by the overall management of the CARE REGIO project Prof Dr Friedrich, the President of Kempten University of Applied Sciences Prof Dr Wolfgang Hauke and the Bavarian State Minister of Health and Care Klaus Holetschek.

The Institute for Agile Software Development (HSA_ias) hosted the event together with the network partners and presented the CARE REGIO research project.
In addition to an exhibition area, there were four sessions with four specialist presentations each on the main topics: Care on the move, Society and care, Digital assistance systems and Data for better care? (see programme).

The CARE REGIO project consists of five partners: Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Augsburg University and Augsburg University Hospital. In the project, each of the partners is focussing on a priority area to relieve the burden on nursing staff in practice.

Augsburg University of Applied Sciences is working together with the University Hospital to digitise the care transfer report (DigiPÜB) and highlighted the challenges of connecting to the telematics infrastructure on this evening.
