The article ‘Tracking assets in source code with Security Annotations’ was presented as a poster at the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) 2024. Daniel Haak and Raphael Mayr presented the work, which was developed in the HITSSSE project. The security annotation is a language-independent source code annotation that makes it possible to permanently mark security-critical code passages so that these code passages can be monitored and changes to them can be tracked during the course of the project. In addition, these annotations can be used to assign assets and potential vulnerabilities to the marked code.
