Their visit was all about cultural encounters. The Japanese students took part in English-language lessons and were able to immerse themselves in Augsburg's design teaching. Afterwards, the Japanese students introduced their German fellow students to the cultural specialities of their country. And the Japanese professors were able to gain a comprehensive impression of the design programme in Augsburg on site. Learning from each other, designing together was the focus of this visit and led to a very special exchange of experiences.
