During a combined studies, you study in parallel with a journeyman's education (with an IHK/HWK degree) in a company that cooperates with us. Theory and practice cannot be better to go hand in hand. You start with the 3- or 3.5 years of vocational training in the company and after approx. You will start your first semester in parallel at the same time.
Bachelor's degree with in-depth practice
Studying with in-depth practice can be bachelor's and master's degree programmes in various subject areas.
Bachelor's programme with in-depth practice means that during your scientific studies you complete intensive practical phases in a company/operation that go beyond compulsory internships – but without seeking vocational training.
You can only start your studies and decide on a subject-oriented intensive practical phase in a later semester.
Studies in conjunction or with in-depth practice according to the study model "Digital and Regional"
The Bavarian-Swabian study model "Digital and Regional" with its unique part-time course "Systems Engineering (B.Eng.)" offers an innovative opportunity to study. What is special about it: Together with regional partner companies, specialists study part-time on two working days per week, either in addition to the profession or dual – and that through so-called blended learning, a combination of face-to-face events and e-learning. The face-to-face events take place at the University Centre Donau-Ries in Nördlingen or at the University Centre Memmingen. Depending on the proximity to where our residence, the attendance days can be visited at one or another location. The study participants are employed in the other three working days: in their partner companies.

Master's degree with in-depth practice
A master's degree with in-depth practice usually lasts usually. 1.5 years (3 semesters) full-time. There are two different study models at the Bavarian state universities of applied sciences:
