There is no final grade. If a module is completely or partly included as mandatory in your undergraduate studies, it has to pass as part of your degree. The grade is then transferred.

The certificate will state the points achieved as well as the following gradings:

• 80 points: “erfolgreich am Zertifikat teilgenommen” (“successful participation”)
• 85-100 points: “über die erforderliche Mindestpunktzahl von 80 Punkten hinaus zusätzliche Leistungen erbracht und somit sehr erfolgreich am Zertifikatsprogramm teilgenommen” (“achieved additional merits beyond the required minimum score of 80 points and therefore participated highly successfully in the certificate program”
• more than 100 points: “über die erforderliche Mindestpunktzahl von 80 Punkten hinaus zusätzliche Leistungen erbracht und somit mit herausragendem Erfolg am Zertifikatsprogramm teilgenommen” (“achieved additional merits beyond the required minimum score of 80 points and therefore participated in the certificate program with outstanding success”)

No. However, you are advised to plan for two or three semesters to acquire the certificate. In order to obtain the certificate all documentation has to be submitted before you leave the university.

Depending on the individual curriculum, the completion of the certificate may take two to three semesters (see example). However, there is no fixed time frame in which the modules have to be completed and you may also take just one or even four semesters.
