DAAD Sprachzeugnis
The DAAD language certificate is accepted by our partner universities as proof of your language level.
DAAD language certificate (English)
- Fill out the “Bewerber” part on the DAAD form (see below). The form has 6 pages - please fill out the upper part on each page!
- Send the completed form along with a proof of your English proficiency to Elizabeth Quinn-Kolland. (As proof serves a course grade (English!) of the TH Augsburg or the result of a supervised placement test at the VHS Augsburg)
DAAD Language Certificate (other languages):
- Arrange an appointment with your lecturer by email.
- Print out the DAAD form and fill in the “Bewerber” part.
- Meet your lecturer who will issue the certificate.

Study applicants who graduated from a non-German secondary school (HZB) have to prove their German language skills before starting their studies.

The TestDaF German exam at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg can assess candidates in the range from B2 to C1 of the GER. With the TestDaF certificate from the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg you are able to apply at all universities of applied sciences in Germany. For all those who want to find out quickly how good their German is, we have the online placement test onSET. With this test all those who learn German as a foreign language can verify their language skills, from level A2 to C1. The test result helps you to choose the right language course or to see if you are ready to take the TestDaf exam. You also need onSET if you apply for a DAAD scholarship.
