In the seven years of the last "Lifelong Learning" program (LLP, 2007-2013) alone, Augsburg University of Applied Sciences supported almost 1,000 students with a budget of more than 1.5 million euros. Erasmus is and remains the cornerstone of mobility within the framework of internationalization.

With the successful application for the extended Erasmus University Charter (EUC), our university was able to support not only study but also practical placements for students in other European countries.

The requirements for the eligibility of studies and internships are therefore also met in the current ERASMUS+ program.

Erasmus has been promoting cross-border mobility since 1987 and to date can look back on over four million students and more than 500,000 lecturers and staff receiving funding throughout Europe.

Participation of students in Erasmus+

Students enrolled at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences who have applied or are applying for an Erasmus stay (student exchange or internship abroad) via the International Office by the deadline are eligible to participate.

In addition to the timely application, academic achievements, language skills and personal motivation are also taken into account.

For a study visit, participation is possible from the end of the first year of study. For an internship, from the time of enrolment, provided it is a voluntary internship. Otherwise, the requirements and deadlines for the compulsory internship apply.
