Prof. Dr. Alice Gruber

Alice Gruber is a Professor of Business English at Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. She conducts research on additional language learning pedagogies and technology-enhanced language education, with a focus on leveraging virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for language learning. Her research interests include English as a Lingua Franca, Virtual Exchange projects, and intercultural citizenship. During her talk, she will discuss the German provision at TUA that is specifically designed for international students. Additionally, she will showcase her Virtual Exchange projects with language students conducted via Zoom and immersed in Virtual Reality.
