Prof. Dr. Thorsten Schöler

Since 2010, Prof. Dr. Thorsten Schöler has been a professor of computer science at the faculty of Computer Science of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (TUA) in Augsburg, Germany. He is the coordinator of the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) at TUA. His main research interests are cyber-physical systems, intelligent software agents, and data science. He has perennial industry experience in the research and development of distributed and knowledge-based software systems, data stream management systems, and mobile solutions, both in technical and economic applications. Since 2016, he is an honorary doctor of Odessa National Polytechnic University (ONPU).
