Current research projects

• Characterization and development of sPEEK-based catalysts for etherification and esterification (supervision of Alina Greve's PhD project together with Prof. Hinrichsen from Technical University of Munich in cooperation with ASG Analytik-Service)
• Process engineering centered optimization of dimethyl ether synthesis by reactive distillation, IR at-line analysis and dynamic process intensification (supervision of Innokentij Bogatykh's PhD project together with Prof. Repke from TU Berlin in cooperation with ASG Analytik-Service)
• Development of miniaturized low-cost sensors for high-resolution measurements of the electrical conductivity of aqueous solutions in continuously flowing reactors
• Water analysis and chemical-physical water treatment (various small projects in cooperation with WashTec, BAUER Resources and Desklab)

Completed research projects

• Characterization, purification and stabilization of OME-based synthetic fuels, see report (MAPR project in cooperation with ASG Analytik-Service, authors: Innokentij Bogatykh & Tobias Goral)
• Increase of the technical impermeability of 3D-printed molded parts through mechanical and chemical-physical treatment processes (MAPR project in cooperation with Hänssler, author: Christian Jäck)
