When using batteries set the power select switch to “battery”. When the batteries run low, the power LED (orange) blinks. When using USB AC adaptor connect the USB cable and USB AC adaptor to the Aerophone mini’s USB port. You can play without being concerned about how much battery power you have left.

To turn the Aerophone mini on, switch the on/off-button to on. The power LED is lit in orange. To turn it off, switch the on/off-button to off. The power LED goes dark.

The sensitivity of the mouthpiece is automatically adjusted when you turn on the power (this unit takes about seven seconds for the system to start). For this reason, don’t touch the mouthpiece while turning on the on/off-button. The power will be turned off automatically after a predetermined amount of time has passed since it was last used for playing music.

Now we want to set the flute sound on the instrument. To do this, hold down the function button and press the tone button two times in succession. You will hear two beeps corresponding to the flute sound.

If you want to connect headphones or an external speaker, connect them to the phones/output jack. Since sound is not produced by the built-in speaker, the headphone output allows you to practice in silence without disturbing anyone. This is also convenient for night-time practice.

Attach the hook of the neck strap to the strap ring of the Aerophone mini, as shown in the illustration. Now you are ready to play.
