Project CARE REGIO
Research project in the Swabia region CARE REGIO - gemeinsam. innovativ. digital.
Project description
The aim of the joint project CARE REGIO is to develop sustainable concepts for digitally supported care. Caregivers and caring relatives are to be noticeably relieved and those in need of care are to be supported in their independence.
For the concept development, existing care structures are analysed and the possibilities of technology-supported care are collected and evaluated. Innovative solutions are then developed for the resulting fields of action.
The network consists of five partners from the administrative district of Swabia: Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences and the University and University Hospital of Augsburg.
It is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care.
In close cooperation with Augsburg University Hospital, THA is analyzing data transmission as part of the discharge and transfer process. The focus here is on the digitalization of the care transfer report (PÜB).
As part of the research, four topics were identified that are being worked on:
- Secure transfer of the PÜB
- Standard format for the PÜB
- Semantic interoperability of the PÜB
- Standardized presentation of the PÜB
Main focus of the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences
The Augsburg University of Applied Sciences will work closely with the Augsburg University Hospital to collect data as part of the discharge and transfer.
It is known that again and again problems arise in the timely processing and transfer of important nursing data to the receiving hospital. This complicates the work of the nursing staff and places a burden on the patients.
In various work packages we develop innovative solutions in the areas of process modelling, data transmissions as well as security, prototype development and the development of user-friendly interfaces and publication of the findings.
