Project description

Erasmus has been promoting cross-border mobility since 1987 and to this day can count over four million sponsored students and more than 500,000 sponsored lecturers and staff across Europe.

In the seven years of the last Erasmus+ program generation (2014-2021) alone, Augsburg University's International Office supported over 1,500 students with a budget of almost €3 million The Erasmus projects are and remain an important pillar of mobility in the context of internationalization. 

With the successfully applied for Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), the university can participate in the following project tracks until 2027:

 

Erasmus Key Action 1 (KA1) - Learning Mobility of Individuals
  • Mobility for students and higher education staff
Erasmus Key Action 2 (KA2) - Cooperation among organizations and institutions
  • Partnerships for cooperation and exchange of good practice
  • Partnerships for Excellence - European Universities
  • Partnerships for innovation

The focus of the new generation is on inclusion, ecological sustainability and digitalization.

KA 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals

 

This program allows the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences to fund students, lecturers and university staff for study or internships.

KA2: Cooperation among organizations and institutions

 

The focus of this projects is on cooperation with universities, companies or other institutions. The following projects can be applied for:

  • Partnerships for cooperation and exchange of best practices
  • Partnerships for innovation

These projects are usually projects by individual lecturers. Please contact the head of the International Office if you have any questions about the application process or need advice.
