Partner Setup (Social Work)

This project area will develop a template for how other new departments and degree programs can establish structures for internationalization from the very beginning and build up an international network.
The experiences and processes gained in the context of HSA_sustaIN will become sustainably usable for the university. The findings will be summarized in a concept.

Establishing an international partner network:

• Identification of international focus regions
• Research of potential partners like universities for student exchange and internships abroad
• Establishing contacts and cooperation negotiations
• Partner acquisition and kick-off trips
• Kick-off scholarship for student internships abroad

Internationalization @home:

• Supplementation of course offerings and conversion of selected courses to English as the course language (important for student and faculty exchange)
• Establishing courses with an international focus
• Invitation of interesting guest lecturers
• Expansion of English-language information on the study program (website, documents, presentations)
