The library and the Didactics and Media Center (DMZ) at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences offer a wide range of target group-specific training and advisory services for students and researchers. Our doctoral students are also very welcome to take advantage of these.
Coaching
The Graduate School also offers personal coaching, e.g. on presentations at international conferences or on managing employees. Internal and external staff from the Faculty of Applied Humanities and Natural Sciences (AWP courses) and the Centre for Languages and Intercultural Communication are primarily available for the coaching program.
Networking
During the brown bag meetings at lunchtime, doctoral candidates can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere - this is particularly beneficial for doctoral candidates from faculties with a small number of doctoral candidates. A small lunch is provided by the university.
In addition to the exchange, the brown bag meeting offers doctoral students a platform, e.g. for test presentations before conferences.
External speakers are also regularly invited to give presentations on various topics relevant to doctoral studies.
The brown bag meetings are repeated every two months.
